Each painting has a story. “What A Gentleman” is a portrait of a dear horse that belonged to a friend, and of every horse who is a perfect gentleman …(or lady).

I have such an admiration for these massive creatures. They are beauty and strength all bound up in flesh and hide and their giving hearts are bent on service.

“There is something about the outside of a horse that’s good for the inside of a man” as they say.

By sharing my art in the form of cards, I hope these paintings will become a meaningful part of someone else’s story as well. I hope I have created a “messenger” fitting for the task of carrying meaningful word and wishes when it matters most.
